Mesquite Resort Associations, Health Fair
Challenge
In the fall of 2001, the Mesquite Resort Association (MRA), an organization comprised of the CasaBlanca Resort & Casino, Oasis
Resort & Casino, Virgin River Hotel & Casino and the Eureka Hotel & Casino, established its Health & Wellness Foundation (H&WF) in
response to the growing needs of the community of Mesquite, Nevada.
Torino Foundation
Challenge
The Torino Foundation, a public foundation founded by Las Vegas business leader and philanthropist Brett Torino, has
provided charitable support for its community partners for almost 20 years. In 2008, the Foundation created the Torino
Classroom, an innovative educational program with its community partners the Clark County School District, the Nevada
Childhood Cancer Foundation and Sunrise Children's Hospital.
APPMA
Challenge
APPMA was in a position where the organization wanted a more strategic outreach campaign to promote the joys and benefits of pet ownership and responsible pet ownership. The association also wanted to better communicate its outreach efforts and successes to members in order to demonstrate an added value of membership. APPMA also charged MassMedia with gaining more media attention to its bi-annual National Pet Owners Survey (NPOS) and annual trade show, Global Pet Expo.
Southern Nevada Chapter of NAIOP
Challenge
In 2001, the Southern Nevada Chapter of NAIOP - a trade association for developers, architects, consultants, bankers, brokers, designers, general contractors and engineers who focus on industrial and office development - was experiencing unprecedented growth. In five years, the chapter had more than doubled in size.
